That has never happened to me before, in any casino. As I walked around, I twice was solicited by dealers to try their games. No exaggeration, there were more employees than patrons. Arriving a bit after 10:00, I was able to park directly in front of the entrance to the 2nd floor. This morning, after rush hour I drove back to the casino. The table games were less than half full, and there were plenty of empty slots. The place is new, plenty of help and quite clean. I took a tour of the facility, and left without gambling. After a while a lady appeared, told me that she had heard that there was some sort of 'computer problems', and no slot dollars could be awarded. When I was unable to assess my account I called for the slot attendant. I had a considerable of 'slot dollars' from Harrah's that were to be used at the Horseshoe. It seemed sometimes like we could almost touch them as they flew by, at outrageous speeds, and noise.
At 2:00, the Navy Blue Angels started their performance, and we had ringside seats!.
I drove to the top level of the garage, the 7th floor, and there I spent the next 2 hours. I timed our visit to arrive at the casino about 1:45. This past Sunday my wife and I drove downtown to look at the tall ships and get a feel for the crowds at the big celebration.
